There are three types of pressure maintaining circuits commonly used: hydraulic control check valve pressure maintaining, pump opening pressure maintaining and accumulator pressure maintaining. However, under the operating pressure of 20MPa, the pressure drop of general hydraulic check valve does not exceed 2MPa for 10 minutes, and the continuous operation time of quality GANTRY PRESS is often 48 hours. There are two types of pressure-on-pump pressure-holding, pressure-compensated variable pump and combination of high and low pressure pumps.
Because the overload of the quality GANTRY PRESS rarely occurs, and the leakage caused by the poor sealing is less, it is still very suitable to use a pressure-compensated variable pump for pressure maintenance and oil supply. However, the volume of the pump is larger than that of the general pump, and the space required for the combined structure of the high and low pressure pump is too large, so it is not suitable for selection here. When opening the pump and maintaining the pressure, the electric motor drives the oil pump to operate continuously, which wastes power and causes vibration and noise pollution.
