Principle of SINGLE-CRANK PRECISION PRESS

SINGLE-CRANK PRECISION PRESS is a compact universal press. With a wide range of uses and high production efficiency, the press can be widely used in cutting, punching, blanking, bending, riveting and forming processes. Machined into parts by applying strong pressure to a metal blank to plastically deform and fracture the metal. When the mechanical press is working, the motor drives the large pulley (usually doubles as a flywheel) through the V-belt, and drives the crank-slider mechanism through the gear pair and the clutch, so that the slider and the punch go straight down. SINGLE-CRANK PRECISION PRESS has no fixed bottom dead center. For larger die forgings, it can be formed by multiple blows, and can perform single, continuous and inching. The striking force is related to the deformation of the workpiece. When the deformation is large, the striking force is small, and when the deformation is small (such as cold shock), the striking force is large. In these respects, it is similar to a forging hammer. However, its striking force is closed through the frame, so the work is stable, the vibration is much smaller than that of the forging hammer, and a large foundation is not required.

It has strong versatility and can be used for die forging, blanking, deep drawing and other processes.
